Our Story
Lion’s Legion was born from a vision sparked in 2017, after meeting a young, war-injured girl in Mafraq, Jordan: Why should refugee children be denied the right to learn in safety?
That question became a calling — one that grew into a mission to bring education, healing, and hope to displaced families.

We envision a world where displaced communities become centers of hope and stability. Where children who once carried heavy burdens grow into leaders who bring wisdom, resilience, and restoration to their regions. Where trauma becomes the foundation for extraordinary strength, and education becomes the pathway to lasting transformation.

How We Choose Our Projects
Step 1: Identification and Assessment
We meticulously evaluate existing educational initiatives in displaced communities, looking beyond immediate need to assess their potential for lasting impact. Our criteria focus on:
- Community readiness for hope-centered transformation
- Local leadership committed to building stable, thriving communities
- Strategic positioning where educated young people can become catalysts for regional restoration
- Alignment with our mission of empowering displaced people to rebuild with dignity and purpose
Step 2: Needs Analysis and Comprehensive Support
We conduct in-depth analysis to understand each community's unique path toward stability and hope. Our targeted support includes:
- Educator Training: Equipping local teachers with Classical education methods and trauma-informed approaches
- Curriculum Development:
Researching and providing learning resources that meet the educational needs of the displaced communities while instilling a love for the good, the true and the beautiful.
- Resource Allocation: Providing tools and materials that support both intellectual growth and emotional healing
- Community Integration: Ensuring our approach strengthens existing cultural foundations
Step 3: Sustainable Growth and Legacy Building
With strong foundations established, we focus on creating lasting transformation:
- Strategic Fundraising: Connecting with partners who share our vision of communities rebuilt through hope and education
- Scaling for Impact: Expanding successful projects within regions or replicating proven approaches in similar contexts
- Local Empowerment: Transitioning leadership to community members who will continue building hope long after our direct involvement ends
